Can Binaural Beats Make You Happy?

Posted by Paul Kleinmeulman on 09 June 2008

Can binaural beats make you happy? Or any audio for that matter… does it effect our emotions?

If you have ever listened to a beautiful heart rending classical piece then you would say of course.

But is it scientifically proven?

Well I’m not a scientist so I can’t help you there… but I can say that real people use my binaural beats audios and get amazing results.

Check out this testimonial from Wendy in the US. It’s the first one I have gotten for this specific audio and the results are very pleasing.

Audio #7 – Pure Happiness

Experience: Very Satisfied

Hello Paul!

I took advantage of your generous offer recently, and downloaded all of the MindShift audios, as well as your new Beyond Binaural audios.

I didn’t have a chance to try them until the following day. I came home from a long, busy day spent running a ton of errands, and I wasn’t sure which audio to try first. I was slightly keyed up and stressed, but also feeling a bit drained and fatigued. Did I want an audio that would perk me up, or calm me down? :-) I couldn’t choose, so instead I decided to try the Pure Happiness audio, figuring it was a good in-between choice.

I listened on my MP3 player while sitting quietly in the living room. I only listened for 15 minutes, then had to get up to make dinner so I shut off the audio.

As I walked into the kitchen, I suddenly realized that I felt really good. My body seemed to be humming with good vibes and well-being, just like you feel after a good workout and stretch. I felt very relaxed and calm, but no longer drowsy or drained. It couldn’t be the AUDIO that did that, could it? I found it hard to believe, but the effect lasted for the rest of the evening and I slept like a baby.

The next morning I listened again to see if the result would be the same – and it was! Every time I listen to that Pure Happiness audio, I end up feeling not only happy but very light, calm and carefree. LOVE IT!

I still need to try most of the other ones – my biggest dilemma is choosing between them! But I am highly impressed by these so far, I must say! :-)

Binaural Beats Skeptisism – Is It Normal?

Posted by Paul Kleinmeulman on 10 May 2008

Is it normal to be skeptical about binaural beats?

I know I was when I first heard about them.

And I know a few of my customers have told me they were as well.

Have a listen to what Jerry had to say…

Audio #1 – Maximum Motivation

Experience: Very Satisfied

I’m a media producer/writer/director working with corporate and government clients. As a scriptwriter, i often have to delve deeply into a rather specialized topic and quickly spit out a coherent script. Last week, i had to take 7 hours of audio interviews and generate a detailed script outline for a client.

I have to admit, that i wasn’t looking forward to the assignment. But the job had to get done.

I put “Maximum Motivation” onto my ipod and started it playing. Sat down with my notes and started working.

Almost immediately I felt my energy and focus increase. It’s kind of like a really centered coffee buzz. I was able to stay with the content, pull out the “gems” and get it all down on paper in three hours – almost effortlessly. I was in the “zone” doing what had to be done.

I’ve got admit I was skeptical. But the damn thing worked! Congrats. I’m not only sold but “SOLD” – if you know what I mean :)

More Energy Than A Red Bull With Binaural Beats…

Posted by Paul Kleinmeulman on 05 May 2008

I’ve just come back from the best 3 days camping of my life. Everything was just perfect… Warm enough to go swimming but cool enough to have a camp fire.

My family and I loved it.

Anyway here is a new article for more information about binaural beats…

More Energy With Binaural Beats…

We are living in a world based on performance. If a member is not productive, he is viewed as useless and a burden to society.

This is why more and more energy drinks have been hitting the shelves lately. Red bull, the most popular energy drink on the market, reported worldwide sales of US$ 1 billion last year; that’s a lot of money…

But humans are not machines. Our body has limits and the over usage of performance enhancing products can have a toll on our health. But wouldn’t it be cool if we could download an mp3, transfer it to our mp3 player and be able to muster all the energy needed for our everyday tasks?

Well it’s possible nowadays to do just that with binaural beats. Binaural beats are specially designed series of sound waves projected to each ear to produce an effect of brainwave entrainment.

But before I tell you how binaural beats work, let me give you a bit of history. Binaural beats were discovered in the early 1800’s by a Prussian physicist by the name of Heinrich Wilhelm Dove. He discovered that when two similar sound waves were sent to each ear separately, the brain would automatically adjust itself and process the two sounds as one distinct sound, or “beat”.

He noticed that when the two different sounds were processed by both the left and right brain, the brain would automatically weed out the difference between the two and single it out as a binaural beat. The combination of the two sounds would then be perceived as a single sound that would be the average of the two separate beats.

He then concluded that if you could adjust the recordings to certain frequencies, you could force the brain into certain frequencies, thus altering one’s mind state and mood.

And this is where the magic of binaural beats lies. With binaural beats, you can literally tune up your brain into different mind states; which is truly amazing… If you want to reach deep sleep or meditation, you can choose recordings that will lower your brainwave’s frequency. If you are experiencing some stress issues, then you can go with recordings that will lower your brainwave’s frequencies, simple as that.

Sometimes, low energy is strictly due to physical causes. It’s very important to have a good and complete alimentation if you wish to maintain your high energy. But a lot of times, lack of energy can be attributed to solely psychological reasons.

So if you would like to gain extra energy for your everyday tasks, there are binaural beats that can help you. Per instance, a lot of people are having trouble staying in a high frequency brainwave range when they are doing menial work. A binaural beat that would gear up your brainwaves into a higher frequency will force you to stay well awake and focused. We often mistake loss of energy with boredom. When you are bored, it is usually because you are dwelling in low frequency mental states. A binaural beat designed to higher your brain wave’s frequency will relieve you from boredom and give you a sense of mental arousal and excitement, thus making you feel more energetic.

Binaural beats can be the perfect replacement to energy supplements. And the best thing about binaural beats is that they work with your brain’s anatomy, so you don’t have to worry about side effects. So if you are sick of being tired all the time and would like to find a natural cure for energy loss, I suggest you give binaural beats a try and see what they can do for you.

If you are looking for binaural beats which can give you more energy, then I highly recommend my 12 pack at http://www.MyMindShift.com

Binaural Beats = Miraculous

Posted by Paul Kleinmeulman on 28 April 2008

Binaural Beats = Miraculous

Yep it’s true.

One of my customers sent me this amazing testimonial.

“Miraculous”

Audio #11 – Active Training

Experience: Very Satisfied

Being an aged pensioner in Australia means I must watch my finances carefully. I refuse to say “I can’t afford something” rather that I am financially handicapped and must think about it first.

I don’t do aerobic exercises but I played the exercise binaural beats on my I-Pod (a gift from the grand kids) and was still playing it after 2 hours digging and planting in the garden and completing the job I started, then another hour while I dragged the hose around watering.

That is really miraculous because I weigh over 100kg and am over 65 years of age and usually the job would take several days.

Thank you.

Now when I first created these binaural beats audios I didn’t have people like Valerie in my thoughts. I had young active people like myself looking for ways to take their excercise to the next level.

But I am so glad to discover that these amazing binaural beats can help just about anybody.

Relaxation With Binaural Beats…

Posted by Paul Kleinmeulman on 24 April 2008

Gosh it’s been such a long time since I have had a chance to write on my blog… I’m embarrased.

But this is a topic I just had to write about because binaural beats are especially powerful in this area.

Relax With Binaural Beats…

Binaural beats are beats that are specifically designed to reach altered states of consciousness. They do so by forcing your brain into certain brain wave frequencies.

This process is called entrainment. Entrainment, also called brainwave synchronization, is the practice of altering one’s brainwaves frequency by means of a periodic stimulus with corresponding frequency.

The stimulation can be aural, as in the case of binaural beats, but the stimuli can be visual, like in the case of dream machines. It can also be both aural and visual, like with a mind machine. You can also entrain someone’s brain wave frequency through electromagnetic radiation.

Every brain wave frequency range will produce a state that will correspond to a certain mind state. For example, if you brain is operating in the beta brain wave frequency range, the area of external activity (physical, muscular, nervous, emotional and intellectual) will be dynamic in your personality. This is the range in which your brain waves are usually in when you are practicing activities that require your utmost attention.

If you brain is in a theta state, then you will feel a bit drowsy like in an early sleep state. This is the range where most of our daydreaming takes place. If you ever were once on the freeway and couldn’t remember what happened in the last 5 miles, chances are you were in a theta state.

If you’re brain is in the Delta state, then you are probably in deep sleep. The delta state can also be reached by skilled meditation practitioners. This is the lowest brain wave frequency range. If you go below the delta state, you will be in what is called a “brain dead” state.

But if you are in an alpha state, you will be in a state of relaxation but still be well awake. The alpha state is the state between the beta state and the theta state and this is the zone you want to be in when you are trying to achieve better relaxation.

So if you want to achieve that goal with binaural beats, you have to go with recordings that target that specific range. There are plenty of different binaural beat recordings out there specifically made for that purpose (check out my set of audios at http://www.MyMindShift.com.

These recordings are designed to bring your brain waves into the 8 Hz to 14 Hz frequency range. This is the range in which your brainwaves are when they are in the alpha state. You will then feel as relaxed when you listen properly to these recordings as you usually would if you were to reach the same state through some other method.

But you will need a very good set of head phones to take advantage of all the benefits of binaural beats. Since binaural beats will only work if each separate ear is stimulated with a clearly distinct frequency, you will not be able to get results if you use standard speakers.

Never before have we been given the opportunity to “tune” our mind up to specific mind states with external sources of stimuli. If used properly, binaural beats can be a very effective way to release stress and dramatically improve one’s life quality…

Less Stress – Easy Sleep – Deep Relaxation and Centered Meditation will all help you to relax and they are all available at http://www.MyMindShift.com for one low price. Check it out if you need some help in that area.

How Can Binaural Beats Help You?

Posted by Paul Kleinmeulman on 10 March 2008

Binaural beats are extremely exciting because they can be used to help you in almost every area of your life. Your brain runs on brainwaves and those brainwaves can be directly influence by binaural beats, therefore anything going on in your head can be improved with the use of binaural beats.

Here’s an example of what binaural beats can do…

Increase Motivation

This is one of the main reasons why I love using binaural beat mp3’s because if at anytime I don’t feel like doing something, I just put on the ‘Maximum Motivation’ audio and BANG within 5 minutes I am ‘in the zone’.

These powerful audios specifically align your brainwaves in a productive frequency and that is powerful.

Increase Focus

I use this specific audio frequency every day, it helps me to write better, it helps me to focus so I get more stuff done in less time. Never leave home without this one.

Relaxation

This is one of the most common uses of binaural audios, it is specifically used to slow down the brainwaves and take them to a more relaxing frequency, ie Alpha, Theta and even Delta.

Quick tip… if you are using these audios without white noise… turn the audio volume right down. This will help you to focus less on the audio and more on your breathing.

Meditation

If you want to get better and more focused meditation… then binaural beats can be used to lower your brainwave frequency down to ‘altered state’ levels. Binaural beat audios are becoming more and more popular to achieve these ’states’.

And that’s just the start.
